Description:
- Oversee the entire Technical Support Group
- Assist technical staff with procedures, special protocol needs, and scheduling
- Assist investigators with protocol specific needs
- Provide direct supervision and training of staff assigned to the animal area
- Reports all animal and personnel issues and concerns to the appropriate chain of command
- Maintain a pro-active and effective working relationship with employees and client
- The ability to develop a line of communication with the client
- Assist in training classes.
- Interview potential applicants for open positions
- Creates the daily and monthly reports
- Conduct employee evaluations and counseling/disciplinary correction
Required Experience:
1 year supervisory and management experience
Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level.
Required Education:
Must have an Associate of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, Animal Science, or other related discipline.
AALAS Certification at the Lag level required.
