Due to expansion and growth, SoBran, Inc. has an opening for a Program Manager at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that contract requirements are met, including proper staffing and AALAS certification requirements.
- Facilitate all activities concerning Contract personnel and Program Management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with representatives of government, Investigators and contract personnel in order to coordinate activities and conduct investigations in matters concerning quality and client complaints.
- Supervise Facility Managers, Administrative Managers and QA Program Manager, and assist in preparation of their annual performance appraisals.
- Assist in personnel matters in collaboration with Supervisory staff to include, but not limited to disciplinary issues.
- Participate in interviews and selection of all key personnel.
- Report any abnormal conditions of the animal facilities or immediate vicinity to appropriate personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Officer
Experience required:
Successful candidate will have 3-5 years management experience in Laboratory Animal Care and 5-10 years experience in Laboratory Animal Care
Education required:
Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent; be certified by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) as a Laboratory Animal Technologist (LATG).
