Due to expansion and growth, SoBran has an opening for a Human Resource Specialist to work out of our Burtonsville, Maryland office as well as at the NIH campus in Bethesda.
The successful candidate will work with the management staff in the hiring, disciplining, promoting, and termination of personnel at this contract site. This person will also act as a liaison between the contract site personnel and the corporate office Human Resources Department. This person will lead the people assigned to the contract in such a way that the work is accomplished in accordance with SOPs, policies, and guidelines associated with the expectations of their facilities. This person will also assist program management in the efficient allocation of the budget, write and maintain reports and develop and maintain an effective relationship with the Government staff.
Some duties include:
- Understanding and following all SOPs and Quality Assurance Standards
- Actively recruit and identify potential candidates for contract vacancies using all recruiting avenues available.
- Screen applicants for work history, educational training, skills and salary requirements.
- Schedule and arrange for qualified applicants to interview with Task Managers
Experience required:
3-5 years in Laboratory Animal Care OR 3-5 years experience in Human Resources
Education required:
Bachelor's Degree in related field
Salary:
Commensurate with experience
