The 2017 NCAB Seminar will feature presentations on the major changes that are affecting the laboratory animal industry and showcase innovative new techniques that positively impact the 3 R's.  In addition, the program will showcase industry game changers such as the use of social media and the impact it has on public outreach.  This year's seminar speakers are key industry specialist from the government and private sectors involved in animal care and use.  The seminar will provide a forum for discussion, networking and education through individual and joint presentations, posters, panel discussions, workshops and Q&A sessions.  A few highlights from this year's seminar are:

2017 NCAB Golf Tournament

  • Tuesday September 12th, 2017, Registration: 7:30am - 8:30am, Tee Time: 9:00am, lunch to follow.
  • There will be prizes, raffles, food and beverages.  All tournament proceeds will be donated to the Childrens's Inn at NIH a 501 (c)(3) organization.
  • REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Mix, Mingle and Make New Connections!

  • Wednesday September 13th, 4:30p.m. - 6:30p.m. 
  • Cost: $25/person
  • Price includes 2 free drinks from the bar and heavy appetizers.
  • Music provided by a live DJ.

 

Scavenger Hunt

Come learn about different opportunities within the Laboratory Animal profession by talking to vendors and getting your questions answered.  We will be awarding prizes each day from participants that complete the Scavenger Hunt questions.  You will also get one of many different items just for participating.  You do not need to be present to win.  Hope to see you in September!
